Artwork
Can you enlarge my artwork if I can't supply it size for size?
Yes, we can, but bear in mind that the enlargement must be in proportion both lengthways and widthways. A newspaper advert of 10cm x 10cm would not ‘enlarge’ to an A5 leaflet, as A5 is rectangular, and any stretch-to-fit would cause an imbalance. Enlargement through ‘A’ sizes will always work (A5 to A4, A4 to A3 etc.)
Can you work from Word and Publisher files?
Yes we can. There may be extra artwork charges if problems occur, but generally we can convert Microsoft files into our print programs.
Can you use images I have downloaded from the internet?
Yes, we can, but these are often poor quality and you should use these with caution. We cannot guarantee the standard of the final print job if poor images are used. Ideally graphics should be 400dpi and saved in CMYK. Many online images are saved in RGB and as low as 72dpi, resulting in poor quality print, particularly if enlarged.
